Water is pouring through and won’t stop. What do I do?
Turn the water off at the stop tap (often under the kitchen sink, or where the pipe comes into the house), then open the cold taps to drain what is left in the pipes. Keep away from electrics anywhere the water has reached. Then ring Gareth: one reviewer whose bath pipe burst on a Saturday night was talked through it on the phone, calmly, and had him there on the Sunday morning.
How quickly can someone come out?
